Auto evaluation

My passion for architecture has always been present in my life. Throughout my school years, my interest were vast but no matter how far I wondered I always found myself back into architecture. Architecture was my passion and I was ready to dive in. At the beginning of the semester while I examined my list of classes ”introduction to architecture” definitely caught my eye and I was truly excited to begin formal education in something I was so greatly interested in.

Since the very beginning of the class, I knew this was going to be a course full of information. And as expected it did not disappoint. It's incredible how much I got to learn and how much I did not know. It made me see way deeper than the superficial aspects of architecture, it made me realize that architecture it's not only about the aesthetic of a structure but that each little column and each little detail was carefully thought through. It thought me that they are no coincidences in architecture, that everything has a purpose.

This class truly made me fall in love with architecture even more than I already was. Some say that you see the world different after your first architecture school year and I'm starting to understand why. This course makes you stop and appreciate your surroundings. It makes you internalize your environment.

In conclusion, at the end of the semester approaches, I can surely say that I learned a lot and that my passion was only grown bigger. Now I just wish to travel and get to personally admire the beautiful masterpieces the the world has within.
